Kosma Złotowski, Treasurer of the European Parliament

Kosma Złotowski, Treasurer of the European Parliament

Today in Strasbourg, during the inaugural session of the 10th term of the European Parliament, MEPs elected the Bureau for the next 2.5 years. PiS MEP Kosma Złotowski was elected as one of the five quaestors, receiving 335 votes.

Kosma Złotowski has successfully served as a Member of the European Parliament since 2014, holding a number of positions in committees, delegations, and his political group.

“I know how demanding, complex, and difficult our work is, and how important it is to have the right technical support, which is crucial to each of our successes. Thanks to the support we receive from the EP administration, technical services, interpreters, drivers, and above all our assistants, we are able to effectively carry out our duties not only in Brussels and Strasbourg, but also in the member states where we were elected. As a Quaestor, I will ensure that the rules governing our work take into account the specific conditions under which we must carry out our parliamentary mission.

The freedom to carry out our mandate cannot remain merely theoretical; it must be guaranteed in all areas of our daily work through comprehensible regulations and clear guidelines on their application.

I will work on behalf of all Members of the European Parliament. Together, we can make this institution more welcoming, more modern, and more open to the needs of both MEPs and EU citizens, regardless of where they come from or what language they speak!” said the newly elected member of the European Parliament’s Bureau.
