Economy and Competitiveness

A Strong Economy, a Strong Europe
Economy and Competitiveness

We aim to strengthen the competitiveness of the European economy by reducing bureaucracy, deregulating, simplifying regulations, supporting businesses and industry, and removing barriers to the movement of services and goods within the single market. Particular attention should be paid to reducing the burdens resulting from overly restrictive regulations and policies that undermine the competitiveness of the European economy.

We oppose excessive interference by the European Union in the economic policies of member states and in their tax policy authorities. Europe must address the growing competitive and technological gap with global economic leaders. It should be a place that fosters investment, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the development of new technologies.
