Transatlantic Relations

A Strong Partnership with the U.S. and NATO
Transatlantic Relations

A strong Europe needs strong ties with the United States. The United States remains a key economic and technological partner and a pillar of security for the Western world. We emphasize the strategic importance of transatlantic relations for Europe’s security and stability. We support the development of political, economic, and defense cooperation with the United States, and we oppose policies that seek to push the U.S. out of Europe or treat American partners as a threat.
