Jadwiga Wiśniewska Speaks Out Against the Promotion of LGBTQI+ Ideology Among Minors

PiS MEP Jadwiga Wiśniewska submitted a question today to the European Commission, which, as part of the Erasmus+ program, “is funding an ideological project promoting LGBTQI+ among minors.”

Wiśniewska points out that the EU’s Erasmus+ program is intended to support young EU citizens in their educational, professional, personal, and athletic development, and focuses on integrating them into social life, the ecological and digital transitions, and the promotion of democratic values. Meanwhile, as she noted, under this program, the European Commission provided 35,730 euros in funding for an ideological project called “DragTivism Jr,” which aims to teach teenagers aged 14 to 17 “the history of the LGBT movement, discovering their alter ego, and exploring gender expression as an art form and a form of activism.” “Such an initiative aims to involve minors in sexually oriented activities that raise doubts about their own sexual identity,” the MEP believes.

In light of this, Jadwiga Wiśniewska asks why the Commission is funding “purely ideological and harmful projects” under a program intended to support educational, professional, and personal development. Furthermore, the PiS MEP asks whether the Erasmus+ program plans to support other initiatives aimed at promoting or celebrating LGBT+ culture. Finally, the Polish politician wants to know whether, in light of the demographic crisis in Europe, the program supports or will support initiatives designed to uphold the traditional family model.
