Today in Strasbourg, on the third day of the European Parliament’s December plenary session, a debate was held titled “One Year After the Marokogate and Katargate Scandals—A Review of Measures to Enhance Transparency and Accountability in European Institutions.” PiS MEP Dominik Tarczyński spoke during the discussion.
Dominik Tarczyński addressed left-wing MEPs, asking what they had done in the 365 days since the Katargate scandal broke. He also asked what they had done regarding the vaccination scandal at the European Commission. He stated that they had done nothing on these issues, yet for eight years they had attacked the Law and Justice government. “You tried to lecture us on the rule of law. You try to lecture Trump, Bolsonaro, Milei—you try to lecture the entire conservative world—yet it is your own people who have been arrested for corruption,” noted the PiS MEP. The Polish politician made it clear that the left has no right to lecture others or to define what democracy and the rule of law are. “That is why I promise that we will fight your leftist ideology until final victory. So help me God,” declared Tarczyński.
