On the final day of the European Parliament’s November plenary session in Strasbourg, a debate was held on strengthening children’s rights in the EU in connection with the 35th anniversary of the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. PiS MEPs Jadwiga Wiśniewska and Dominik Tarczyński took part in the discussion.
Jadwiga Wiśniewska stated that children’s right to education is particularly important, but—as she emphasized—“our common challenge should be to ensure a quality education that not only teaches, but also shapes character, strengthens and builds self-esteem, and prepares them for adult life.” She noted with concern that, unfortunately, LGBT ideology—which is confusing—is increasingly seeping into schools. “Rainbow educators are brainwashing children by denying the obvious fact that there are two genders,” commented the Polish politician. She added that “children are being told they can easily and freely choose their gender identity, as if it were a game.” She emphasized that promoting gender transition among children is madness. “That is why I say a firm ‘no’ to the corruption and sexualization of children. I say a firm ‘yes’ to values-based education,” the MEP stated. She also pointed out that investing in values-based education is an investment in the best future for Europe and the world.
“We are having a very important debate on children’s rights, and I would like to know if you realize that you yourselves are the greatest threat to our children,” Dominik Tarczyński said, addressing MEPs who support left-wing ideology. He stated that “their sick left-wing ideology, which promotes gender transition and so-called ‘gender identity,’ is the greatest threat to children,” and that is why he intends to fight against it. “I will fight for our children’s rights. I will defeat you and make sure that your sick leftist ideology disappears forever. So help me God,” Dominik Tarczyński stated firmly.
